Of all the Nord devices we’ve seen over the past few months, there’s only one model that a lot of people are really excited to see. Now, it’s here, and the Philippines is one of the first to get it. Meet the OnePlus Nord 3.
The new OnePlus Nord 3 boasts sub-flagship-level specs headlined by the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset, mated to a whopping 16GB of RAM — which is more than what most flagship phones offer — and 256GB of fast UFS 3.1 storage.
It has an equally fancy 6.74-inch Fluid AMOLED display that has a 2772 x 1240 pixel resolution, HDR10+ support, and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. It’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4.
OnePlus is throwing in a fast 80W SuperVOOC charger for the 5,000mAh battery, which can be fully charged in just half an hour. For better longevity, the device comes with a special Battery Health Engine and a dedicated SuperVOOC S chipset.
As expected, the new Nord 3 has a pretty packed camera system. It starts with the 50-megapixel IMX890 main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), joined by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. A 16-megapixel selfie camera sits on the front.
Handling the software side is the Android 13-based OxygenOS 13.1. Other notable features include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, IP54 splash resistance, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a large VC cooling system.
The new OnePlus Nord 3 5G will go official in the Philippines on July 14.
