OPPO’s latest entry-level device, the OPPO A2x, has been made official with a pretty interesting design on the back.
The OPPO A2x comes in a special Purple color with accents of what looks like snowflakes falling from the sky. There’s also a Gold color with a brushed metal look, while the black option has a cleaner and calmer look.

OPPO also highlights how the four corners of the device have been designed to prevent the screen from breaking on accidental drops. It is also IP54-rated for being dust and water-resistant.
Now, on to the important things. The A2x comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 processor, with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM, and 128GB or 256GB of storage.

There’s a low-resolution 6.56-inch HD+ IPS display on the front but with a high 90Hz refresh rate. A waterdrop notch is on top for the 5-megapixel selfie camera, while on the back, there’s a single 13-megapixel main camera and the LED flash.
Keeping the lights on is a 5,000mAh battery with a relatively slow 10W charger.

The OPPO A2x has a price of CNY1,099 (~Php8,500) for the 6GB/128GB and CNY1,399 (~Php10,800) for the 8GB/256GB. It is now available in China while international release details are yet to be known.
