The OPPO A5 5G is now out alongside two of its siblings.
Sharing similarities with the A5 2025 and A5x, the new OPPO A5 5G is the fanciest of the three, featuring a 5G-enabled MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, with 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB LPDDR4X RAM options and your choice between 128GB and 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage.
Like its siblings, the A5 5G is IP65-rated for dust and water resistance, has MIL-STD-810H Military-Grade Shock Resistance, and a 5-year durability for its large 6,000mAh battery. Charging is done via a 45W SUPERVOOC adapter. A 50% charge takes 37 minutes.
We also have a bright 6.67-inch IPS screen that reaches up to 1,000 nits. It has a high 90Hz refresh rate but only has an HD+ resolution. It only has a single loudspeaker but supports 300% Ultra Volume Mode.
The top of the display has an 8-megapixel selfie camera. On the back, there’s the 50-megapixel main shooter and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
It will come with Android 15-based ColorOS 15, and OPPO claims the device will stay smooth even after 4 years.
Pricing and availability details for the OPPO A5 5G are yet to be announced.
