OPPO has finally unwrapped the F3, the smaller and more affordable sibling of the OPPO F3 Plus.
In an event today, another selfie-centric handset has reached the Philippines. It is the successor of the F1s which made waves last year because of its great iPhone-like design and impressive camera capabilities.
OPPO is looking to recreate the magic with the new F3. They’ve taken what’s good about its predecessor and further improved it to come up with a better mid-range device.
The OPPO F3 still has the same screen size of 5.5-inches but now with a higher 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. That results in a pixel density of approximately 401, which makes everything about the display really crisp.
The chipset used is a slightly upgraded version of the MediaTek CPU found on the F1s while the RAM is now 4GB out of the box.
The OPPO F3 also has a dual camera setup in front. This is similar to its bigger brother and it can be used in taking groufies because of its 90-degree wide-angle feature.

UPDATE: Here’s our full review!
Unfortunately, it still runs on an outdated Android OS and there’s still no mention of an upgrade anytime soon. It’s important to note that it costs higher when compared to how much the F1s debuted last year. But to be fair, the company did significant hardware upgrades which can partially justify the more expensive price tag.
The OPPO F3 has a price of Php16,990 and it will be available in the Philippines beginning May 13, 2017.
