Alongside the 4G variant, OPPO has also launched the Reno 8 T 5G. The two looks identical in terms of design, but different in a lot of areas.
Obviously, the main difference is the processor. The OPPO Reno 8 T 5G uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor, which brings 5G connectivity to the device. Meanwhile, the 4G model settles for a still capable MediaTek Helio G99 processor.
It also has a curved screen that uses a bigger 6.7-inch panel with 10-bit color and 120Hz refresh rate. It can also do 950 nits of peak brightness.
A punch-hole cutout holds the 32-megapixel selfie snapper. While on the back, there’s a sharp 108-megapixel main camera joined by two 2-megapixel sensors.
Another big advantage over the 4G model is the much faster 67W SuperVOOC charging. Albeit, the battery is slightly smaller at 4,800mAh (vs 5,000mAh).
Of course, it will ship with the latest Android 13 operating system with OPPO’s ColorOS 13 interface on top.
The OPPO Reno 8 T 5G is now available for pre-order in Vietnam for a price of VND9.9 million (~Php22,600). It’s yet to be confirmed if it’s coming to the Philippines, but the 4G-only variant already is.
