OPPO has launched the Reno16 series to the global market with major changes from its Chinese counterparts. Let’s first focus on the OPPO Reno16 Pro Global.
The OPPO Reno16 Pro Global comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 8550 Super, a downgrade over the Dimensity 9500s that the Chinese version has. The 7,000mAh battery was also downgraded to 6,700mAh.
It also has a smaller 6.32-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen, which can be good news for people looking for a compact smartphone. It is also faster now at 144Hz, while the Chinese version is capped at 120Hz.
Everything else seems the same, though. It still has a 200-megapixel main camera, joined by two 50-megapixel sensors for the telephoto and ultra-wide. Another 50-megapixel shooter is on the front for selfies.
It also comes with a new colorway that features a HoloVerse 3D Technology. It definitely looks cool and a good way to freshen up the series.
The OPPO Reno16 Pro Global is already listed in Europe with a starting price of EUR1,099 (~Php77,200).
