OPPO Philippines has officially launched the Reno16 series in the country, and brace yourselves for the prices.
It is available in three models: the OPPO Reno16, Reno16 Pro, and the one we’ll be looking at separately, the affordable Reno 16 F. First, here’s the OPPO Reno16 Pro.
This one features a sharp 200-megapixel main camera, joined by three 50-megapixel sensors for the ultra-wide, telephoto, and selfie snappers. Keeping the lights on is a large 6,700mAh battery.
It then has a compact but capable 6.32-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a high 144Hz refresh rate and 3600-nit peak brightness.
Powering the device is a MediaTek Dimensity 8550 Super processor, with 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. It runs on Android 16-based ColorOS 16.
The OPPO Reno16 Pro is available in a single 12GB/256GB configuration for Php74,999.
If you want something cheaper, there’s the vanilla OPPO Reno16. This one is almost entirely the same, but with two major changes. The chipset is now a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, while the main camera was dropped to a 50-megapixel sensor.
The OPPO Reno16 is listed for Php59,999. Both models work with the OPPO Bubble worth Php8,999.
The Reno16 series is now up for pre-order until August 20 at OPPO physical stores, online platforms, and through telcos.
