Xiaomi sub-brand POCO has launched a new entry-level phone and member of the M6 series called the POCO M6 Plus.
The POCO M6 Plus is powered by a 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 AE processor. “AE” stands for Accelerated Edition as it has a higher clock speed of 2.3GHz (from 2.2GHz). It comes in two RAM variants, 6GB and 8GB, but only with a single 128GB storage option.

On the front, we have a large and fast 6.79-inch FHD+ IPS display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. A 13-megapixel selfie camera is on top, while on the back, we have a pixel-dense 108-megapixel ISOCELL HM6 main sensor joined by a 2-megapixel macro lens and a ring flash.
Keeping the lights on is a 5,030mAh battery with 33W fast charging. It ships with Xiaomi‘s HyperOS, which is based on Android 14, and is secured to receive 2 major Android upgrades in the future.

The POCO M6 Plus has a price of INR13,499 (~Php9,400) for the 6GB/128GB model and INR14,499 (~Php10,100) for the 8GB/128GB. It will be available in India starting August 5, while release details in markets like the Philippines are yet to be known.
