Realme’s next 5G midrange phone device, the V23, have been spotted on the Chinese social media website Weibo before its official release.
As per the marketing materials, the Realme V23 will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 CPU. Not a brand-new processor, but still one of the most capable 5G-equipped chipsets for the price.
Realme was generous with the RAM as it comes with 12GB of it, as well as in internal storage as it has 256GB. Thanks to RAM expansion technology, you can borrow space from the storage to virtually increase the memory by up to 19GB. A cheaper 8GB RAM option is also available.
It then comes with 33W fast charging, which has become a norm on midrange devices. You’d be using that to juice up the standard 5,000mAh battery.

Like everyone else, it has a 6.58-inch IPS screen on the front, with a sharp FHD+ resolution and a buttery 90Hz refresh rate. There’s a punch-hole on the top for the 8-megapixel camera, while on the back we have two large lenses that look a lot like the Reno 7 series and houses the 48-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors.
Other than the camera layout, it also has a flat surface and edges like the Reno 7. Albeit the corners are still rounded for ergonomics. It comes in two contrasting colors: Glass Magic if you want the attention or Gravel Black for subtlety.
Being a new device, it will ship with the Android 12 operating system with the company’s own Realme UI 3.0 on top.
The Realme V23 has a starting price of CNY1,699 (around Php13,900) for the 8GB/256GB and CNY1,899 (around Php15,600) for the top-tier 12GB/256GB. It will be initially available in China and may arrive in other markets like the Philippines under a different name.
