New information has been revealed about the Realme V5 since it was first teased and made official last month. As the first in the Realme V series, and thanks to the MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC inside it, this device is a welcome addition to the midrange smartphones that feature 5G connectivity.
Said 7nm system-on-a-chip is also why the Realme V5 has a 90Hz refresh rate for its 6.5-inch FHD+ display as well as a 48-megapixel f/1.8 main camera. For power users, a gaming mode is available that boosts touch response and overall performance.
Per benchmark reports, the V5 can reach an AnTuTu score of over 300,000. Storage is fixed at 128GB with microSD expansion, while system memory options are 6GB and 8GB RAM.

Other specs of the Realme V5 include WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0 and, for audiophiles, a 3.5mm audio jack. The V5 also features 30W SuperDart Charging, which for its 5,000mAh battery means a full charge in 65 minutes.
The Realme V5 has an official price of CNY 1,499 (approx. ₱10,600), which makes it one of the cheapest 5G phones available so far. It’s available in green, blue and silver variants.
