Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Note 11R in China and if it looks familiar, that’s because we’ve actually seen it before.

The Redmi Note 11R is a rebranded POCO M4 5G, which was just launched here in the Philippines. The two phones are almost indistinguishable from each other as they share the same specs and even design.

That said, the Note 11R is powered by none other than the MediaTek Dimensity 700 octa-core processor. One of the cheapest — if not the cheapest — 5G-equipped chipsets in the market.

It can be had in three RAM and storage configurations to fit your budget: 4GB/128GB, 6GB/128GB, and 8GB/128GB.

On the front we still have a 6.58-inch FHD+ screen with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. Still no stereo speakers, though.

A notch on top holds the 5-megapixel selfie camera, while on the back you can spot the 13-megapixel main shooter and its 2-megapixel assistant. Beneath the back panel is a 5,000mAh battery juiced by an 18W adapter.

The Redmi Note 11R with 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB of RAM can be had for CNY1,099 (around Php9,100), CNY1,199 (around Php9,900), and CNY1,399 (around Php11,600), respectively. All of which comes with 128GB of storage and are now available in China. Here in the Philippines, the POCO M4 5G retails for Php9,599.
