Samsung finally took the wraps off the Galaxy C5.

The Galaxy C5 appeared in numerous leaks before this announcement so most of this is just for formality. It’s the first smartphone in the newly introduced C series, adding to the already immense portfolio of Samsung.

As seen in the picture above, it bears a strong resemblance to the iPhone. Samsung has been accused of copying from Apple in the past and it seems like they’re to prove that once again. The C5 features a full-metal body and is only 6.7mm thick, leaving a small room for the battery.

The Galaxy C5 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 chipset, 4GB of RAM and runs on Android Marshmallow with Samsung’s TouchWiz skin on top. There’s also a fingerprint sensor at the home button similar to the S and Note series.
