The Samsung Galaxy Quantum 2 was announced with a special security chip.
A follow-up from the first Galaxy Quantum from last year, the Samsung Galaxy Quantum 2 features a QRNG chip, which stands for Quantum Random Number Generator.

The chip is the smallest in the world at only 2.5mm. It can generate random codes by getting noise from a CMOS sensor and LED, which can be used for payment apps, banking, and other services.
Being a South Korea-exclusive smartphone, Samsung has teamed up with Standard Chartered Bank Korea, Shinhan Brand, and T World to support this special feature.

The rest of the specs are pretty high-end. There’s a large and fast 6.7-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. A 4,500mAh battery is also onboard, as well as an optically stabilized 64-megapixel main shooter.
Albeit, the charger it comes with is only 15W, but it can officially support 25W fast charging. It also uses a 2-year-old flagship chip Snapdragon 855 Plus, with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

The Samsung Galaxy Quantum 2 has a price of KRW699,600 (around Php30,400) and is now available for pre-order thru SK Telecom in South Korea. Shipping starts on April 23.
