At a time industry watchers and fans were expecting the announcement of the Galaxy S8, Samsung rather took the wraps off its latest tablet – the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. The tablet features a design similar to the design language of the previous generation Galaxy Tab S2. This edition, however, uses a glass back and has a metal frame.

The Galaxy Tab S3 comes sporting a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip assisted by 4GB of RAM. The SD 820 is a flagship SoC and so should be capable of giving the tablet a command performance without any jerkiness. Tablets are not usually for snapping photos but in case there is cause to use the device to capture that special moment, the Galaxy Tab S3 comes ready with a powerful 13MP rear camera. The device also packs a 6,000mAh battery inside which would sure keep the device running for a few days.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 packs a 9.7-inch AMOLED display with 1536 x 2048 pixels resolution which is easy on the eyes, has great viewing angles and supports HDR content. In addition, the Tab S3 comes with four AKG speakers which are capable of delivering top-notch audio output. There is also an S Pen on the device and it functions in the same way as the S Pen on the Galaxy Note series. The S Pen is twice as large as that of the Note 7, though, and is more sensitive. There is also a keyboard case coming with the Tab S3.
