The TCL P80 series was unveiled at IFA 2026 in Berlin. This is the base model.

Sadly, the TCL P80 lacks the innovative NxtPaper Display that the P80 Pro and P80 Ultra have. Instead, it has a pretty standard 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a sharp 1.5K resolution, and a high 120Hz refresh rate.

It may lack that pioneering display, but TCL boasted that the P80 is incredibly thin at just 7.5mm and weighs just 178g.

Like the Pro model, it has a sharp 50-megapixel main camera, joined by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 32-megapixel sensor for selfies.

It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Elite processor, 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, a 5,000mAh battery, and joined by a 45W fast charger.

There’s also an IP68 dust- and water-resistant build, and it will receive 3 OS upgrades in the future.
