The new TECNO Camon 20 Premier has been announced and as the name suggests, it’s quite premium for a midrange device.
TECNO Mobile is highlighting the device’s leather and ceramic back panels, which apparently went through 56 hours of polishing, with the entire device taking 576 hours to be made. It even has a unique design pattern and camera island.
It has a pretty interesting camera configuration. There’s the special 50-megapixel RGBW main shooter with sensor-shift OIS. It is coupled with an ultra-sharp 108-megapixel ultra-wide lens that doubles as a macro shooter, and finally, a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There’s also a ring flash that we’re seeing in more phones today.
A sharp 32-megapixel selfie camera is on the front with its own LED flash for low-light snaps.
Now, let’s see what’s under the hood. TECNO Mobile uses the brand-new MediaTek Dimensity 8050 processor with 8GB of RAM and a really generous 512GB of expandable storage.
Of course, the display department is quite packed, too. It’s a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, with the fingerprint scanner baked underneath. As per usual, it comes with a 5,000mAh battery and 45W fast charging.
The official price and availability of the new TECNO Camon 20 Premier are yet to be announced, so stay tuned for that.
