The TECNO CAMON 40 series just made its grand debut at the annual Mobile World Congress (MWC) happening now in Barcelona, Spain.
TECNO releases four models under the series: the TECNO CAMON 40, CAMON 40 Pro and 40 Pro 5G, and the CAMON 40 Premier. The whole line-up is equipped with AI technology for imaging and practical uses, better photography prowess, faster performance, and more.

The brand did so well in the camera department that the CAMON 40 Pro 5G got a whopping score of 138 from DXOMARK, topping the Global Photography Ranking for phones under USD600 and becoming the first device of 2025 to receive the DXOMARK Smart Choice Label.
A couple of AI features include the FlashSnap mode, where you can press the handy One-Tap button and let AI optimize the camera startup and continuous shooting so you can immortalize spontaneous, fast-paced moments.

As for the hardware, the CAMON 40 Premier 5G sports a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-701 Ultra Night Camera that can capture 56.25% more light. It also has a sharp 50-megapixel ultra-wide shooter, a 50-megapixel periscope-style telephoto lens, and a 50-megapixel selfie camera. Eye-tracking is also here.
It is also the first to have the updated Universal Tone technology that offers true-to-life colors. AI Image Extender, AI Eraser 2.0, AIGC POrtrait 2.0, AI Perfect Face, and AI Sharpness Plus are also here to improve your photos after the shots are taken.

To enable all this AI prowess, the CAMON 40 Premier 5G sports a MediaTek DImensity 8350 processor, the first device to have it, and offers a 330% AI performance boost.
The series is also the first to have an AI-powered 360-degree AI Call Assistant that enables features like Call Noise Cancellation, Call Translation, Auto Answer, and Call Summary. Also here are other AI practical tools like Circle To Search and an improved Ella AI Assistant.

Furthermore, the CAMON 40 Premier 5G, CAMON 40 Pro 5G, and CAMON 40 Pro are IP68 and IP69 dust and water-resistant while the CAMON 40 got an IP66 rating. The Premier and Pro models also have robust Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, with the whole series being SGS 5-star Certified with a 360-degree Drop Resistance.
The CAMON 40 series will have bright AMOLED screens, stereo speakers, up to a 12GB/256GB configuration, and a 5,100mAh battery with 70W fast charging.
