TECNO Mobile has introduced a really affordable smartphone called the Pop 5C, and it looks like an entry-level phone from years ago.
Right on the front, the TECNO Pop 5C has a small 5-inch LCD screen with an 854 x 480-pixel resolution. This could’ve made the device really compact, if not for the thick bezels on top and bottom. Complete with touch-sensitive navigation keys.

The specs on the inside are something to be expected. It’s powered by a UNISOC SC7731e processor, a quad-core chip clocked at 1.3GHz.
It’s joined by an underwhelming 1GB of RAM, 16GB of eMMC 5.1 storage, and a power-efficient Android 10 Go Edition to compensate.

Keeping the lights on is a 2,400mAh battery, which should still provide decent longevity considering the hardware it’s powering.
To keep things interesting, TECNO added a front-facing LED flash, right next to its 2-megapixel selfie camera. Around the back, there’s a 5-megapixel main sensor with autofocus.

The availability details and pricing for the TECNO Pop 5c are yet to be announced.
