TECNO Mobile has announced the all-new Pova 5, its big-battery midrange phone, which will also come in a limited-edition Free Fire version.

The TECNO Pova 5 will come with an enormous 6,000mAh battery. A battery so large you can use it like a power bank to juice other devices at 10W speeds. It ships with a 45W adapter that can fully charge the entire thing in about an hour.

Enormous as it is, the Pova 5 will sport a large 6.78-inch IPS display with a 2460 x 1080 pixel resolution, fast 120Hz refresh rate, and 240Hz touch sampling rate.

Under the hood, it is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 octa-core processor, mated to a large 10,749mm2 heat dissipation area consisting of a vapor chamber and a graphene heat sink to keep it cool.

On the back, we have a futuristic Turbo Mecha design as what TECNO calls it. A large glass area on the top left holds the 50-megapixel main camera and a depth sensor. An 8-megapixel selfie camera is on the front.

Of course, the device also has dual speakers. Plus, a Z-axis linear vibration.

The official price for the TECNO Pova 5, as well as the Free Fire Edition (which only comes with a special UI, stickers, and packaging), is yet to be announced. But, like its predecessors, we’re certain that it will be available in the Philippines soon.
