vivo held an event in China and announced a couple of high-end products, including the new vivo Pad 2.
Let’s talk about one of the main reasons why you’re getting a tablet in the first place. The new vivo Pad 2 has an enormous 12.1-inch IPS screen with a 2880 x 1800 pixel resolution and a fast 144Hz refresh rate. It has a 7:5 aspect ratio, which is the sweet spot for multitasking and entertainment.

For audio, it has four speakers in a stereo setup with Golden Ear tuning.
Under the hood, it comes with a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9000 octa-core processor with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It then has an enormous 10,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging.

The cameras are nothing too exciting as it has an 8-megapixel shooter on the front and a 13-megapixel on the back that’s joined by a 2-megapixel macro lens for some reason.
It then ships with OriginOS 3 based on Android 13, just like the also-new X Fold 2 and X Flip. You can also get it with a dedicated keyboard case with a trackpad and vivo’s 2nd-gen stylus that attaches to the device using magnets.

The new vivo Pad 2 is available in 8GB/128GB and 12GB/512GB variants for a price of CNY2,499 (~Php20,300) and CNY3,399 (~Php27,600), respectively. No word yet if it’s coming out of China.
