vivo has introduced yet another entry-level smartphone. Here we have the new vivo Y02A, which bares a couple of features you’d come to expect from a budget device but in an attractive casing
The new vivo Y02A is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core processor, paired with only 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. That’s obviously not a lot, but there’s a microSD card slot for storage expansion if you need more.
It runs on the efficient Android 12 Go Edition but still has the brand’s FuntouchOS 12 interface on top.

On the front, there’s an apt 6.51-inch IPS display with only an HD+ resolution. A 5-megapixel camera is on top, while on the back, there’s a circular glass that holds the single 8-megapixel shooter and the LED flash.
Like most phones, it gets a large 5,000mAh battery but with a slow 10W charger. It also uses an outdated microUSB port. No fingerprint scanner either.

It lacks 5G connectivity. On the upside, it has dual-band WiFi and managed to get Bluetooth 5.0 and FM radio.
The vivo Y02A is now available in Bangladesh for a price of BDT12,499 (~Php6,500). No word yet if it’s coming to the Philippines.
