Motorola just released the new Edge 40 Pro carrying almost all the high-end specs you’d expect from a flagship phone.
The new Motorola Edge 40 Pro is powered by — you guessed it — a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which is aptly paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of fast UFS 4.0 storage.
It also comes with a well-rigged display. It’s a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with an ultra-fast 165Hz refresh rate with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The resolution is decent at FHD+.
As for the cameras, it comes with a 50-megapixel 1/1.55-inch shooter with OIS, another 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens with autofocus for macro shots, and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x zoom and a bright f/1.6 aperture that’s great for portraits. It then has an extra sharp 60-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
Keeping the lights on is a relatively small 4,600mAh battery, On the upside, it boasts a fast 125W charging that can get from 0 to 50 percent in just 7 minutes with the full charge only taking less than 20 minutes. 15W wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging are also present.
Of course, the new Edge 40 Pro comes with an IP68 rating for being dust and water-resistant.
The new Motorola Edge 40 Pro has a price of EUR899.99 (~Php53,700) and will be initially available in Europe. Release details in markets like the Philippines are yet to be announced.
