vivo is bringing another midrange phone in the Philippines called the vivo Y100 4G.
The vivo Y100 4G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 octa-core processor, with 8GB of RAM, and a relatively large 256GB of storage, which is still expandable via the microSD card slot.
For the display, vivo used a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate,1200 nits of peak brightness, and a fingerprint scanner underneath. It even managed to get a stereo speaker setup with Hi-Res certification and a 300% volume boost feature.
Keeping the lights on is a standard 5,000mAh battery with an impressive 80W fast charger — one of the fastest you can get for the price. vivo also said that its Smart Charging Engine 2.0 can help the battery last up to 4 years.
On the back, we have a sharp 50-megapixel main camera, joined by a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a flicker sensor. An 8-megapixel sensor is on the front for selfies.
Handling the software is the latest, Android 14-based Funtouch 14 interface. Oh, and the Breeze Green variant uses vivo’s signature color-changing material. It’s also IP54 dust and splash-resistant.
The vivo Y100 4G will be available starting April 4 at a price of Php14,999. Collect vouchers and it can be yours for as low as Php11,749.
