Vivo has added a new weapon on their arsenal as the Vivo Y17 was finally made official in India.
The new Vivo Y17 sports 6.35-inch LCD HD+ display, with a small waterdrop notch on top. While on the back we have a reflective mirror-like finish that’s available in Mineral Blue and Mystic Purple.
As of the moment, the Y17 comes in 4GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage. However, the tech company might unveil more variants in the future, especially when it arrives here in the Philippines. It’s powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 processor that’s made from TSMC’s 12nm FinFET process.
One of the most interesting things about this latest device is its cameras. It has a triple shooter setup on the back with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera on top, 13-megapixel main shooter and a 2-megapixel sensor. It’s almost identical to what we saw on the V15 Pro, only with lower resolutions.
It also has a 25-megapixel camera for selfies, which is located on the aforementioned notch, and not in a pop-up mechanism like its bigger brothers have.
To add, Vivo Y17 offers a really generous 5,000mAh battery capacity, probably the biggest power the company has ever put in its devices. It’s bundled with a fast 18W charger out of the box.
