vivo has introduced a bunch of entry-level devices in the past few months. Now, they have released yet a new one, the vivo Y36C.
The new vivo Y36C is powered by a capable MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa-core processor, a 6nm chipset clocked at 2.4GHz, and has a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. You can get the device with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, up to a 12GB/256GB configuration.
On the front, we have a 6.56-inch display with a high 90Hz refresh rate. But since it’s still a budget phone, it only has an HD+ resolution and a mediocre 5-megapixel selfie camera.
At the back, we have a 50-megapixel main shooter and an unknown accomplice — possibly a flicker sensor.
It comes with a fairly slow 15W charger to juice up the 5,000mAh battery.
Finally, it ships with Android 14-based OriginOS 4.0 interface. The device is also IP54 dust and splash-resistant.
The vivo Y36C has a price of CNY899 (~Php7,100) for the 6GB/128GB model, CNY999 (~Php7,900) for the 8GB/128GB, CNY1,099 (~Php8,700) for the 8GB/256GB, and CNY1,299 (~Php10,300) for the 12GB/256GB. It is now listed in China while international release details are yet to be known.
