realme is not yet done with its realme 13 series as it recently announced the new realme 13+ 5G and realme 13 5G.
First, let’s start with the realme 13+ 5G. Upfront, the phone has a large 6.67-inch OLED screen with a 12 0Hz refresh rate. At the back, it houses a dual-camera setup with a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 OIS primary sensor and an undisclosed secondary lens.
Moreover, the device also features the newest MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy 5G processor, the first smartphone released to have this chipset. It is partnered with a Mali-G615 with improved power management. To keep the phone’s temperature, it also comes with a 6,050 mm2 stainless steel vapor chamber.
In terms of interface, expect the same realme UI based on Android 14. The phone is available in both 8GB and 12GB RAM with up to 256GB internal storage. Moreover, it has a 5,000mAh battery with fast 80W ultra charging.
The realme 13+ 5G is available with a starting price of INR22,999 (~P15,400) for the 8/128GB variant, while the 8GB/256GB version retails for P24,999 (~Php16,700). On the other hand, the 12GB/256GB configuration is available for INR26,999 (~Php18,000).
The other device that realme launched is the 5G version of realme 13. The phone might look like the earlier released 4G version but they have significant differences.
First is the processor. Since it’s a 5G device, it sports a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G, 8GB RAM, and up to 256GB internal storage, expandable via a microSD card. The 4G version, on the other hand, has a Snapdragon 685.
In terms of display, the phone has a 6.72-inch IPS LCD panel with a 120Hz display. At the back, you have the 50-megapixel main camera with OIS and a unspecified sensor. Meanwhile, it uses a 16-megapixel front camera that is perfect for taking selfies.
Other features of the smartphone include an IP64 Water and Dust resistance and a 5,000mAh battery with 45W charging.
The realme 13 5G is available in two configurations — 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB. Price starts at INR17,999 (~Php12,000) for 8/128GB version and INR19,999 (~Php13,400) for the 8/256GB version.
realme has yet to announce if these two phones will be available in the Philippines.
