Looking for a cheaper alternative to the Vivo Y77? Here’s the new Y77e for you.
The new Vivo Y77e has a MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor, which is still capable enough compared to the Y77’s Dimensity 930 chip. This also means that the cheaper variant still has 5G connectivity.

On the front, we have a fancy OLED panel that spans at 6.58-inches with an FHD+ pixel resolution. Sadly, it only has a standard 60Hz refresh rate but does come with 180Hz touch sampling for better responsiveness in games.
Keeping the lights on is a 5,000mAh battery, which is paired with an 18W USB Type-C power adapter. A pretty standard affair.

On the software side, we have Vivo’s new OriginOS Ocean version, which is based on Android 12.
As for the cameras, there’s an 8-megapixel sensor on the front for selfies, 13-megapixel on the back acting as the main one, and a 2-megapixel for macro shots.

The Vivo Y77e has a price of CNY1,699 (around Php14,000) for the 8GB/128GB model. Official pricing for the 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB versions is yet to be revealed, as well as details if it’s coming to the Philippines.
