After its initial launch in China back in March, the vivo Y78 goes global after its recent launch in Singapore carrying a different processor and a fancier display.
The vivo Y78 Global is powered by the trusty Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 octa-core processor, joined by 8GB of RAM, up to 8GB of virtual memory expansion, and 256GB of non-expandable storage.

On the front, we have a fancy 6.78-inch curved AMOLED panel, versus the flat panel that the Chinese model has. It has a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, DCI-P3 color coverage, and 1300 nits of peak brightness.
It has a premium 64-megapixel main camera on the back with optical image stabilization. Albeit, it’s only joined by two 2-megapixel sensors for macro and depth sensing. A 16-megapixel selfie camera sits on the front.

Keeping the lights on is a 5,000mAh battery with vivo’s 44W fast charging. Software is handled by the Android 13-based FuntouchOS 13.
As a cherry on top, vivo included IP54-rated protection against dust and water splashes.

The official price and availability of the vivo Y78 Global are yet to be announced, so stay tuned for that.
