As both PC and console gaming embraces high refresh rate visuals, more brands are releasing 120Hz screens, including Xiaomi with its Redmi Smart TV X 2022.

The Redmi Smart TV X 2022 comes in two sizes: 55-inch and 65-inch. Thanks to their fast and smooth 120Hz refresh rate, they should be great for watching sports or playing games. In fact, it’s officially recommended by the Xbox China team.

To make it possible, both models come with HDMI 2.1 ports for variable refresh rate (VRR) care of AMD’s FreeSync Premium. It also has an Auto Low Latency Mode that automatically switch to game mode with 4ms latency when you turn on your gaming console or PC.

The TV can also convert movies, videos, or live TV to 120fps.

Both models have 4K resolution, HDR, Dolby Vision, 94% DCI-P3 coverage, and decent color calibration out of the factory.

Enabling its smart features is a quad-core chipset that consists of four Cortex-A73 performance cores, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. It runs on Xiaomi’s own MIUI for TV 3.0.

As for audio, it comes with two 12.5W speakers with Dolby Atmos support. It also has built-in microphones for voice commands.

The 55-inch Redmi Smart TV X 2022 retails for CNY2,699 (around Php21,500) while the 65-inch is at CNY3,499 (around Php27,800). It will be available in China starting October 31 while release details on other markets are yet to be known. In the meantime, you can check the Mi TV P1 series that starts at only Php10,990.
