Skyworth Philippines just held an event and launched one pretty over-the-top TV, the Skyworth SUE9500.
Of all the things, what makes the 65-inch Skyworth SUE9500 special? Well, it is a transforming Android TV. “But how does it transform?” you might ask. Apparently, it can go from being flat to a 1000R curved screen.
What gives? Well, having a large screen that’s flat is great for watching with multiple people as it provides good viewing angle. However, if you’re alone or with only a few friends and family, having a 1000R curved screen makes for a more immersive experience.
But that’s not it, as the panel itself is quite impressive. This one uses a Crystal Motion OLED that has a 240Hz variable refresh rate. It then has a 3840 x 2160 pixel resolution.
It also has Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, HDR10, TUV Rheinland Certification for eye-protection, a 12-megapixel High Light PTZ gimbal AI camera for family video calls, meetings, and motion tracking on select games and activities.
Also onboard are HDMI 2.1 and the latest WiFi 6 standard. It then runs on the Android 10 operating system with Google Voice Assistant and has a Chameleon Extreme 2.0 picture processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and voice control.
The 65-inch Skyworth SUE9500 has a price in the Philippines of Php1,600,000. It should be available on select retailers soon.
