TECNO Mobile is having a pretty busy booth at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in Barcelona, Spain. It introduced a bunch of new hardware, including the TECNO Dynamic 1 — a freaking robotic dog.
The TECNO Dynamic 1 is a robotic dog powered by AI and embodies the brand’s “Stop At Nothing” approach to innovation. Inspired by a German Shepherd, it boasts a torque output of 45N.m/kg with a complex cooling system in the knee joints to mimic an actual dog’s natural movements like walking, climbing stairs, bowing, and heaven handshaking.
It has a special headlight system that can light up its path while also acting as an indicator for interaction. It can then easily hear its owner’s voice thanks to the four microphones built-in and advanced AI-driven voice recognition algorithms.
The Dynamic 1 comes with TECNO‘s AI HyperSense Fusion for realistic movements. There’s also the Intel RealSense D430 depth camera, two optical sensors, and IR sensors that help detect obstacles when moving.
Its smart features are handled by an 8-core ARM CPU. It also has a 64GB of storage, fast WiFi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2. It can be controlled via a smartphone app, voice command, or the included remote control. Meanwhile, the 15,000mAh battery lasts for 90 minutes of use and is removable so you can keep going.
Like other robotic dogs, no word yet if and when the TECNO Dynamic 1 will be available in the market, so stay tuned for that.
