If you have imagined seeing yourself a part of Studio Ghibli’s wonderful world of magic and even mystery, a user revealed a camera filter that turns you and your surroundings into Ghibli animation.

It seems like the user is still in the process of ensuring the filter is ready for an official launch, just recently posting an update on the development thus far stating that it is an AI-infused camera app which also turns our world not only in the Ghibli animation, but pop culture universes including Minecraft, Coraline, LEGO, and more.

The creator also mentioned that one can mix and match the different styles to come up with surprising results. There is also the feature that is akin to the lenticular cards we enjoyed as children back in the day, in the sense that the mobile phone can be tilted to switch between the original and AI photos.
The developer assures users that they can try as many photos as they want with the filter. For now, the app requires the user’s mobile number so they can be able to log in and use the filter, but mariam717 promises that there will be improvements on the sign-up system in the future.
