Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi has unveiled its latest product for audiophiles: a true wireless pair of earbuds officially known as the Redmi Air Dots S

With a very similar external design as the original Redmi AirDots, the Air Dots S features improved pairing connectivity and data transmission despite using the same Bluetooth 5.0 tech. It also has DSP noise cancellation and a low-latency mode for gaming. Another mode allows using the pair of earbuds as separate, independent receivers.

A full charge of the Redmi Air Dots S can provide up to 4 hours of calls and music playback, with the charging case providing 8 hours more. Touch controls are available for various functions, including activating the voice assistant, accepting/rejecting calls, and playing/pausing music. The Redmi Air Dots S has an IPX4 rating, making it splash resistant.

As a cheaper alternative to last year’s Xiaomi Mi AirDots Pro, the Redmi AirDots S officially costs 99 yuan or around Php710 in the Philippines.
