Shokz has unveiled two new wireless earbuds that both sit outside your ear so you can still hear traffic or people talking.
Shokz OpenDots 2
Shokz redesigned the inside to pump out stronger bass from a small body. Two 11.8 mm drivers work like a single larger 16 mm driver. The earbuds also aim sound straight into your ears and support Dolby Audio for deeper bass and clearer voices.

Calls should sound better too, with three microphones, including a bone conduction mic, to isolate your voice. AI kills background noise.

Battery life gives you 10 hours of playtime. The charging case adds 30 more hours for a total of 40 hours. It supports fast and wireless charging.
Other extras include automatic pause when you take them out, IP57 water resistance for rain and sweat, multipoint pairing, and a find my earbuds feature.
Shokz OpenDots Air
It comes in Daybreak Purple or Black. Each earbud weighs only 6.3 grams, and a soft flexible design helps them fit many ear shapes.

Dual 11.8 mm drivers deliver balanced sound. You can adjust the EQ in the app. A feature called DirectPitch cuts down sound leakage.

You get 9 hours of battery life, or 36 hours with the case. Other features include AI call noise reduction, IP55 water resistance, automatic ear detection, and multipoint pairing.
Spend $250 on the OpenDots 2 if you want top sound, long battery life, and better rain protection. Save $80 and get the OpenDots Air if you prefer a lighter feel and stylish purple or black colors.
