The screen on the Infinix GT 50 Pro is a 6.78-inch AMOLED display and supports a 144Hz refresh rate. For gamers, this is huge. Every movement looks fluid and fast action scenes stay sharp.
But a high refresh rate screen alone is not enough. The phone also has a powerful 4nm MediaTek 8400 Ultimate chip and software optimizations that work together. I also tested a few supported games like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and Bloodstrike. The difference between 60 FPS and 144 FPS is very noticeable. Swiping, aiming, and even just walking around in the game feels much smoother. If you are serious about mobile esports, you will definitely appreciate this.
Pressure-Sense GT Triggers – real buttons, real advantage
Other gaming phones put touch sensors on the sides, but the Infinix GT 50 Pro uses physical pressure-sensitive buttons called Pressure-Sense GT Triggers. They are located on the top edge when you hold the phone sideways.

The Infinix GT 50 Pro comes in three colors: Black Abyss, Glacier Silver, and Red Blaze. My test unit was Glacier Silver. The back has four crosshair-styled RGB lighting strips, which is really unique. You can even change the colors to match your mood or your game.
There is also that see-through window showing the HydroFlow Liquid Cooling system. It looks cool, but honestly, you will not stare at it while gaming. Still, it is a nice conversation piece.
The phone also has an IP64 rating. That means it can handle dust and splashes. Not fully waterproof, but fine for daily use.
Cameras, battery, and daily usage
To be honest, no one really buys a gaming phone for the cameras. But the GT 50 Pro does a decent job. It has a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization with 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. Daytime photos look sharp and colorful. Night photos are okay, not great. For video calls, social media stories, and quick snaps, the 13-megapixel front-facing camera is also perfectly fine.
The battery is a massive 6,500mAh. You can easily game for hours and still have power left for the rest of the day. Charging is 45W wired. There is also 30W wireless charging, which is rare for a gaming phone. But in case you want to continue playing while plugged in, it’s way more convenient to go wireless.
One smart feature is bypass charging. When you play while charging, power goes directly to the phone parts instead of the battery. This keeps the battery cooler and healthier over time, helping to make it last longer compared to other phones that don’t have it.
