BYD Philippines launched its latest fully electric SUV at the 2026 Manila International Auto Show, the BYD Sealion 7.
The BYD Sealion 7 is a 5-seater SUV that’s only available in an AWD Performance variant in the Philippines. It has a dual-motor AWD system with rear-wheel bias and is paired with a BYD Blade Battery that has an 82.6kWh capacity.
It boasts a power of 523hp, 690Nm torque, with a 40%-60% split to the front and rear. It can do 0-100km/h in just 4.5 seconds, with a driving range of 542km.
The Sealion 7 also has Double Wishbone front suspension, Multi-Link on the back, and an R20 wheel type with 245/45 tires.
For safety, the latest Sealion has DiPilot ADAS, which has a 360-degree View Camera with see-through mode, Blind Spot Detection, front and rear parking sensors, and front and rear Cross Traffic Alert.
It has 9 airbags positioned at every angle.
You also get a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen paired with a 12-speaker Dynaudio sound system. There’s also wireless charging, power-adjustable front seats with ventilation, dual-zone air conditioning, and a panoramic glass roof.
BYD is selling it with a home wall charger included, a portable charger, and a Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) adapter.
The BYD Sealion 7 has an SRP of Php2,588,000 in the Philippines.
