E-bike brand HATASU has released in the Philippines a new model of e-bike, the HATASU Tara, with a starting price of Php54,990.
As one of the company’s sustainable transportation solutions at a reasonable cost, the HATASU Tara is well-suited for long-range travel. It features a 1500 Dynamo Motor designed for faster speed (up to 45kph) and extended range (up to 70km), plus a 72V 32AH lead-acid battery that can be efficiently charged thanks to its reduced energy consumption. The bike is built to have a larger front wheel for better road grip, its front disk brakes have reliable stopping power, and its higher ground clearance means an increased undercarriage durability.
In addition, the Tara has an easily accessible compartment with an adequate space for storing personal items, including a helmet and tools. The bike supports a load capacity of up to 150kg before stability becomes an issue. The e-bike body is made of ABS plastic, which is known for its durability and can withstand various weather conditions and scratch damages.

Given the e-bike’s specs, HATASU is marketing the Tara as an attractive choice for delivery riders and young professionals who need to save on transportation costs and reduce commute times. A full charging cycle of the Tara is estimated to cost less than Php20.00.
Interested buyers can purchase the HATASU Tara at various authorized dealer stores nationwide. These include ACT, EMCOR, Motorcentral, and Save N’ Earn. The company has a complete list of authorized dealer stores available online.
As part of its promotion of the e-bike, HATASU is giving away a freebie set that consists of a helmet, arm-sleeves, t-shirt, and other items to customers who purchase a unit in May. Purchases made from May 15 to June 30 are also eligible to enter the Hatasulit sa Tag-Init Raffle Promo for a chance to win prizes, including a brand-new Tara.
