Honda Philippines, among other motorcycle companies, went to the 2023 Makina Moto Show and introduced new products for enthusiasts. For the Japanese brand, there’s the new Honda CL500.
The new HONDA CL500 2023 scrambler bike available in the Philippines is powered by a 471cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin gasoline engine, which is similar to what the Revel 500 has. It can do 46hp at 8,500rpm and 43.4Nm of torque at 6,260rpm.
This powerful engine is mated to a six-speed transmission equipped with an assist/slipper clutch.
It then features that classic scrambler design with the 12L rounded fuel tank with real rubber knee pads that provide comfort. Plus, the frame, suspension, and engine have been blacked out for a cleaner yet angsty look. You can check the images to appreciate their beauty.
As for the rest of the specs, the new CL500 has a seat height of 790mm, a wheelbase of 1484mm, and 191kg weight.
It also has a 2-channel ABS system, floating disk brakes at the front, regular disks at the back, twin shock 45mm round pipe swingarm rear suspension, and telescope 41mm upright forks front suspension.
What’s more, it uses cast aluminum material on both wheels. The tire size on the front is 110/80R19M/C 59H while at the back there’s a 150/70R17M/C 69H.
It then has LED headlights, an LCD speedometer with dual trip meters, LED tail light and headlight, and HISS security.
The new Honda CL500 2023 has a price of Php409,000 and will be available in the Philippines in Mat Laurel Green and Mat Gunpowder Black Metallic colorways.
