Xiaomi has introduced its latest electric vehicle, and it’s a performance one. Check out the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, which is said to be the “fastest four-door production car in the world” after breaking a Nürburgring record.
The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is powered by the new Xiaomi HyperEngine V8s that boasts 27200rpm, 1548 horsepower, and 635Nm of torque. Xiaomi claims that it can go from 0 to 100kmph in just 1.97 seconds, 0-200kmph in 5.96 seconds, and has a top speed of up to 350kmph.
As per Xiaomi, that engine combines two V8s motors and a V6s. They are housed in a low chassis with a large intake grille on the front and splitter. The air then passes through the hood and roofline to seamlessly flow through the carbon fiber wing on the back.
It also has an active rear diffuser that can switch between drag and downforce. This special aerodynamic design generated 285kg of downforce.
The vehicle is 5,115mm long, 1,465mm tall, 1,970mm wide, and has a wheelbase of 3,000mm. Xiaomi also claims that the prototype has an all-carbon exterior that reduces the weight by 500kg.
It also has a 1330kW battery output and uses the new CATL Qilin 2.0 battery module. Fast charging is also supported which can go form 10% to 80% charge in just 11 minutes.
We then have an eye-catching yellow paint job, with the same tones found on the leather interior that uses Alcantara microfiber fabric. You can also spot the carbon fiber material within the front seats and the console.
The Xiaomi SUV7 Ultra is now available for pre-order in China for CNY814,900 (~Php6.7 million) and will be available in March 2025.
