ASUS-sustainable-future

In a bid to solidify its commitment to a phenomenal sustainable future and a drive toward a circular economy, ASUS partnered with the Communities Organized for Resource Allocation (CORA) resulting in the collection of 1.67 tons of recyclable waste and plastics, via a series of activations.

Spanning three phases, the ASUS x CORA sustainability campaign involved multiple stakeholders for a holistic approach in the promotion of eco-friendly products, reduction of waste, intensification of awareness about climate action and circular economy, and the education of people on how to achieve an eco-conscious lifestyle.

ASUS Philippines Country Manager George Su said that ASUS believes that “innovation and sustainability go hand-in-hand.” He thanked everyone who took part in the effort, which included ASUS employees, dealers, partners, and every Filipino who played a part in the campaign.

ASUS’s effort towards a sustainable future goes as far back as 2007 when it launched the world’s first-ever sustainable notebook with the ASUS Bamboo Series. The product line-up is a recipient of multiple accolades and environmental certifications, especially for its innovative design and engineering.

Continuing on that tradition, ASUS released this year the first sustainable Zenbook, with the Zenbook S 13 OLED (UX5304). It underscores the company’s 2025 Sustainability Goals and dedication to environmental supervision.

The Zenbook S 13’s OLED, marked by its EPEAT Gold label, is a substantial step towards circular product design for its positive environmental impact across the entire product lifecycle, ranging from material use and manufacturing to assembly, use, and end-of-life.
