Cherry Mobile and Vivo have been really improving their game recently. These two are definitely some of the most popular smartphone brands in the local industry, and their new releases will prove that they’ll stay in the ranks for long.
For one, Cherry Mobile is entering an unfamiliar territory as they launch the Cherry Mobile Flare S7 Plus. This is the company’s attempt to go against some of the hard-hitters in the midrange segment.
In our initial hands-on review of this handset, we were already impressed with its processing and camera performance for the price. However, how does it actually compare with some of the veterans in this price category?
To answer that question, we’ll be comparing the Flare S7 Plus with the Vivo V11i. As you all know, Vivo has been coming up with interesting midrange devices for years. And the V11i, by far, feels like the most appealing one as it delivers a compelling value for the money — something that we can’t usually say on Vivo’s previous releases.
With that said, our Cherry Mobile Flare S7 Plus versus Vivo V11i specifications and features comparison shall help us decide which between these two value-oriented products are actually worth your hard-earned money. Let’s begin!

I guess it’s pretty clear who’s the winner here. Specs-wise, both devices are very similar. However, the Cherry Mobile Flare S7 Plus was able to nab the win over the Vivo V11i due to its cheaper price tag.
The two devices have an identical screen size and resolution. The Flare S7 Plus brags a 6.18-inch FHD+ display, while the V11i has a slightly bigger 6.3-inch FHD+ screen. Although I have to say, the latter’s smaller display notch and the color gradient design on the back makes it more visually appealing than the former.
Other than the screen, both devices also use the same processor. They come with a MediaTek Helio P60 processor, which is easily one of the most reliable midrange chipsets around.
They also come with 4GB of RAM, although the V11i gets to have 128GB of storage, while the Flare S7 Plus only has 64GB of storage. But then again, considering for the price you’re paying, it’s still not too shabby and you can easily buy a microSD card for extra storage.

Probably one of the most obvious wins that the Flare S7 Plus has over the V11i is its wireless charging capability. We rarely see this feature in smartphones today, especially here in the midrange category.
However, let’s not discount the fact that the V11i has a 3,315mAh battery, which is slightly bigger than the 3,050mAh battery of the Flare S7 Plus.
Vivo’s offering also comes with a 25-megapixel front camera with a software that has been polished for those who loves to take selfies. On the other hand, the Flare S7 Plus is equipped with a 16-megapixel selfie camera but was able to make up for it thanks to its FlareMoji feature.
To finally wrap it up, if you want a smartphone that can get the job done, without having to spend too much money for it, then the Cherry Mobile Flare S7 Plus is the safest way to go. It offers a large screen, capable performance, and even a wireless charging capability for a price of only Php11,999.
But if you want something more lavish, the Vivo V11i and its better design, larger storage, and better camera features are worth it for its price of Php15,999.
