vivo finally brought its two new camera-centric sub-flagship phones in the Philippines: the vivo V30 and V30 Pro.
Both the vivo V30 and V30 Pro feature the brand’s latest Aura Light 3.0 technology, ultra-thin designs, large batteries, fast charging, and other premium features.
Obviously, the two differ in price tags to accommodate users with particular budgets. But in case money is not an issue, which between the two is the better buy? Should you immediately go to the Pro model? Or save cash and go with the vanilla variant?
Let’s see what’s the difference between the vivo V30 and V30 Pro 5G in our specifications and features comparison.

As you can see, the vivo V30 and V30 Pro are very similar, at least on the surface. Both models are equally thin and light — all while having the same robust 5,000mAh battery with 80W charging.
So if a thin and light device with no compromise in battery life is what you’re after, you can’t go wrong with any of the two.

Both also share the same 6.78-inch 2.8K AMOLED screen with a high 120Hz refresh rate and with sharp 50-megapixel selfie camera on top. So if that’s what you’re into, then again, you can pick any one of them.
Their main difference is in the cameras and processor used. The Pro model has ZEISS technology and an extra 50-megapixel 2x telephoto lens, which is great for portraits. In addition, the Pro has a more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor with only a 512GB of storage.

The bottom line is, you can conveniently settle with the vivo V30 5G if your budget is limited. But if money is not an issue, you might be better off getting the Pro for the more powerful processor and extra telephoto lens — all for an extra Php7,000.
