AMD is one of the biggest names at the COMPUTEX 2024 show floor and has introduced a line of new processors: the Ryzen AI 300 series and the Ryzen 9000 series.

First, we have the new AMD Ryzen AI 300 series, which is meant to handle local AI tasks, made possible by the new AI engine on the new AMD XDNA 2 architecture. AMD also highlights its privacy focused and responsive AI capabilities, exceptional battery life, and console-level gaming.

For hardcore gamers and content creators, there’s the new AMD Ryzen 9000 series desktop processors that works with two AMD 5 motherboards: the new AMD X870E and X870, which has support for DDR5 RAM, PCIe 5.0, USB 4, and the latest WiFi 7 connetivity. It will be available in July 2024.

AMD has also introcuded the new AMD Radeon Pro W7900 dual slot workstation graphics card for high-performance, multi-GPU setups. It is said to offer up to 38% better performance-per-dollar in Llama 3 70B Q4.

It offers 96 CUs, 192 AI accelerators, 96 rat accelerators, 48GB GDDR6 ECC RAM, and 295W TBP.

There’s also the new AMD ROCm 6.1 for AMD Radeon GPUs that enable AI deployment and development for Radeon desktop GPUs more accessible, compatible, and scalable. It can accommodate up to four qualified AMD Radeon RX and Pro GPUs, Windows subsystem beta support for Linux, and more. It retails for USD3,499 (~Php205,400).
