ASUS’s most advanced — and one of the market’s most expensive — monitors is coming to the Philippines. This ultra premium display is made for professionals and design houses dealing with accurate coloring, filmmakers and video editors, and designers and photographers.
The ASUS ProArt Display PA32KCX is a 32-inch 8K display with sharp 7680 x 4320 resolution for an impressive 275 pixels-per-inch. That’s more than double the PPI of a 4K 32-inch display.
It sports the latest mini-LED panel technology with support for VESA DisplayHDR 1000 for 1000 nits of sustained brightness and 1200 nits of peak brightness. It also has LuxPixel technology that combines anti-glare and low-reflection technologies.
The monitor has both a backlight and ambient light sensors. One of its coolest features is the built-in colorimeter for the self-calibration feature. It also works seamlessly with Calman and Light Illusion ColorSpace CMS professional hardware calibration software.
ASUS’s fancy monitor has true 10-bit color, 97% DCI-P3, 95% Adobe RGB, and Delta E < 1 color accuracy. Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG are also supported. HDR Preview is also here for direct camera-to-monitor connection.
For ports, we have two HDMI v2.1 for 8K@60Hz, one DisplayPort 2.1, two Thunderbolt 4 (one with 96W PD and daisy-chain support), one USB-C for Auto KVM, three USB-A 3.2 hubs, and one USB-C 3.2.
It also supports picture-by-picture (PbP) support of up to 4 screens and picture-in-picture (PiP).
The stand supports height adjustment of up to 100mm, tilt, pivot, and swivel. It comes with a detachable monitor hood for even fewer reflections.
You can now pre-order the ASUS ProArt PA32KCX before it becomes available in the Philippines in mid-June. It retails for Php500,000 and will come with a free Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Substance 3D, and Adobe Acrobat subscription with a value of USD488.91 (~Php27,700), applicable for both new and existing accounts.
