Lenovo is stepping up its game in the competitive Asia Pacific gaming market by focusing on what gamers truly need: high-performing laptops that can tackle the latest AAA titles without succumbing to overheating problems.
The company has unveiled a new cooling solution called Legion “Coldfront: Hyper,” which is exclusive to their newest Intel-based Legion 5i and Legion 7i laptops. This advanced thermal technology is designed to keep the heat in check, ensuring that the laptops can deliver top performance without getting too hot to handle.
Coldfront: Hyper works by smartly redirecting airflow inside the laptop and moving the heat away from key components using a specialized hyperbaric chamber. The D-cover on the bottom of the devices also ensures the hot air is separated from the cold air drawn by the laptop’s fans, which results in better frame rates and cooler hardware.
Lenovo’s LOQ laptops also benefit from this cutting-edge thermal innovation. The hyperchamber technology not only maintains lower processor temperatures but also allows for up to 25W more power when in Extreme Mode. It also keeps the exterior of the laptop up to 2°C cooler and reduces fan noise by as much as 2dB when compared with previous models.
But it’s not just about staying cool. Lenovo’s latest gaming laptops also boast AI-assisted performance enhancements. With fully customizable settings, these laptops are all about maximizing power efficiency for a better gaming and productivity experience. Lenovo has integrated their own LA AI Core Chips into both the Legion series and LOQ gaming laptops, which help to push frame rates higher and make the most out of the laptop’s feature-packed hardware.
