LG has added a new premium gaming monitor to its UltraGear line, the 27-inch LG 27GX790A OLED.
The new LG 27GX790A UltraGear OLED is a 27-inch WOLED (White OLED) gaming monitor with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. What makes it special is the whopping 480Hz refresh rate, the highest you can find on a QHD OLED monitor.
To take advantage of the high refresh rate, you want to make sure your graphics card supports DisplayPort 2.1. Speaking of which, the monitor also has 2x HDMI 2.1 ports, 2x USB 3.0 upstream, 2x USB 3.0 downstream, and a headphone out with DTS Headphone:X support.
Going back to the screen, it boasts 1,300 nits of peak brightness, 98.5% DCI-P3 coverage, and a 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio. It is also DisplayHDR True Black 400 certified. Plus, support for both NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro.
The stand is quite beefy, too, offering high adjustment, up to 15 degrees of tilt, and up to 30 degrees of swivel. LG has also put an Anti-Glare and Low Reflection (AGLR) coating to improve viewing angles.
Those in the US can now pre-order the LG 480Hz QHD OLED monitor for a price of USD999.99 (~Php58,800).
