Samsung Electronics America, in a breakthrough in a gaming display, announced the release of Odyssey OLED G9 (G95SC model), which comes enhanced with next-generation AI upscaling technology.

The Samsung Odyssey OLD G9 is a follow-up to the Odyssey OLED G8, paving the way to a new age of OLED gaming.

As a 49-incher, the Odyssey OLED G9 breaks ground in design and capability with its 1800R curvature and the never-before-seen Dual Quad High Definition (DQHD; 5,120 x 1,440) resolution with a 32:9 ratio. With 100 pixels per inch, the G9 offers a high pixel density, which translates to more details in its visual output.

With a screen ratio that is both large and wide, this top-of-the-line OLED monitor is tantamount to two QHD screens placed together side by side.

Competitive players, meanwhile, will love the G9 for its 240Mhz refresh rate in addition to its 0.03ms gray-to-gray (GtG) response time, which altogether gives them a significant competitive advantage.

Older large displays are typically plagued with issues with visuals that appear stretched from a lower resolution standpoint. But the G9 does not compromise on visual fidelity, thanks to its brilliant deep learning algorithm—powered by the Neo Quantum Processor Pro.

AMD users will especially like the Odyssey OLED G9 for its AMD FreeSync™ Premium Pro functionality, which provides a seamless performance during times of play.

Paired also with the DisplayHDR™ True Black 400, the overall viewing experience comes to life with more colors and significant details.

Starting June 12 until June 25, 2023, interested buyers may place their pre-orders at Samsung.com, anyone placing their pre-order is eligible for a $250 Samsung gift card.

The Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 will soon become available across select retail stores for $2,199.99. Pricing and availability in the Philippines are yet to be revealed.
