The official Windows 10 upgrade offer has already ended back in July last year. However, Microsoft left a huge loophole that lets Assistive Technologies users to still get the free update.
Unfortunately, Microsoft has finally decided to terminate it next month.
In the offer’s web page, Microsoft quietly altered its FAQs. If you look at it now, Microsoft added that the free Windows 10 upgrade for assistive technologies users will be until December 31, 2017 only. This is despite the thoughtful gesture projected by its header.
Microsoft went on the defensive by saying that they are still ironing out the accessibility option for the Windows 10 when the Anniversary update arrived back in July. But since then, there had been two feature updates that further improves the accessibility features.
So if you’re thinking of getting your free Windows 10 upgrade, make sure to do it before the year ends.
