The back-to-school season is here, and Epson Philippines is helping promote quality education in all schools by previously teaming up with the Department of Education (DepEd) through its Adopt-a-School project.
The Adopt-a-School Project ensures that learning is not disrupted by the lack of resources in schools. Epson Philippines also highlighted how sustainability is imprinted in their DNA and that institutions that have used their products were able to do their part in ensuring a healthier environment, in line with the company’s “Engineered For Good” philosophy.
Dynamic, interactive learning with Epson projectors
“Epson blends traditional and digital learning together in modern Philippine classrooms, equipping them for the future of education and sustainability,” said Epson Philippines President and Director Masako Kusama.
“At Epson, we believe this is a right, not a privilege. Through our work with DepEd and schools in the country, we want to help unlock students’ creativity and potential,” Kusama added.
The company has showcased products that help enrich the learning experience in schools. For one, the Epson EB series of projectors immerses students with large and colorful materials to make learning more engaging.
Epson’s EB-1485Fi ultra-short throw projectors can turn a plain white wall into a 120-inch screen at a distance of just two feet away, perfect for small, compact classrooms.
There’s also the Epson EB-728wi and EB-695wi that encourage better engagement using tactile learning as they sport finger touch and dual-pen interactivity. This lets students interact with the material they are seeing. There’s also the EB-725Wi that allows teachers and students to print, save, and email whatever they have put on the screen.
What’s more, these projectors have a life span of up to 20,000 hours with little to no maintenance. That translates to up to 10 years of life if used 8 hours a day.
Classic, tangible learning materials with Epson printers
Digital learning sure has a lot of benefits, but research consistently proves that using printed learning materials is effective in terms of reading comprehension and memory retention.
That’s the reason why Epson continues to innovate its printers. The latest Epson Business Inkjet printers (WF-C879R, AM-C400, AM-C550, AM-C4000/C5000/C6000, WF-C21000) all come with wireless printing and let teachers and students print with just their phones so they can instantly and conveniently have their learning materials in their hands.
These printers can also churn out up to 50 pages per minute, great for high-volume printing for large classes, making them a valuable investment for schools.
Made with the environment in mind, these printers have a heat-free technology that drops power consumption by up to 85%.
In a press release, Epson said that addressing the unique needs of students translates to quality education. It highlighted how the enhanced mix of digital and traditional learning tools in schools helps foster a creative and engaging environment for the leaders of tomorrow.
