Xiaomi’s Smart Band line may have undergone a couple of name changes, but one thing stays the same: it’s still one of the most popular wearables in the market. Now we have the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 here in the Philippines.
The new Xiaomi Smart Band 9 comes with a metallic frame with different colors and band options to match your outfit. On the front is a 1.62-inch AMOLED screen with a smartphone-like 60Hz refresh rate and a very bright 1200 nits of peak brightness.
It also has a built-in ambient light sensor for automatic brightness adjustment and is intelligent enough to avoid accidental touches caused by sweat or rain. The watch is relatively thin at 10.95mm and weighs only 15.8g.
Per usual, it has an all-day heart rate sensor, 24/7 blood oxygen saturation monitoring, stress monitoring, breath exercises, and women’s health management.
Xiaomi also includes comprehensive sleep quality tracking with sleep insight reports and provides tips to help you achieve better sleep.
It then has more than 150 sports modes and lets you mount your watch to your shoes for better tracking.
Other notable features are the 21-day battery life, 9 days with AOD on, and 6.6 days for heavy users. It is also 5ATM water resistant and comes with a linear motor for vibrations.
The Xiaomi Smart Band 9 has an SRP of Php1,999 with an early-bird price of Php1,699 until August 21 at Xiaomi’s official Shopee store. It will be available in all authorized Xiaomi stores nationwide on the 29th.
